Description
This Japanese style dipping sauce is perfect for adding flavor to various dishes.
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted, then cooled to warm (not hot))
- ¾ cup Japanese mayonnaise (Kewpie is recommended)
- 1 ½ tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sriracha ( – it’s not spicy, just flavorful)
- ½ tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Add butter to a small microwave-safe bowl and melt about 10-20 seconds. Set aside and cool before starting the next step.
- While you wait, measure the next ingredients.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients: mayonnaise, ketchup, mirin, rice vinegar, sriracha, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Whisk very well until smooth.
- Cover and store in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight for a deeper flavor.
