Description

Delicious cheesy garlic rolls made with King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups (8 oz) shredded or thinly sliced cheese (e.g., sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the sweet rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the rolls.
  5. Layer the shredded cheese on top of the buttered rolls.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls back on and brush with any remaining garlic butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.
