Description

Delicious cookies filled with fruit preserves, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup fruit preserves (apricot, raspberry, or strawberry)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick.
  6. Cut into squares (about 2×2 inches) and place a small amount of fruit preserves in the center of each square.
  7. Fold opposite corners together and press to seal.
  8. Transfer cookies to the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden.
  9. Let them cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
