A delicious and easy recipe for shredded barbecue chicken cooked in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (see note 1)
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture over the chicken breasts.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks, then toss with barbecue sauce.

- Note 1: Use your favorite barbecue sauce for the best flavor.
