- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- A dash of cinnamon (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)
Instructions
- Ensure all ingredients are ready and accessible.
- In a blender, combine blueberries, rolled oats, almond milk, banana, and chia seeds if using.
- Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy, usually 2-3 minutes.
- Taste the smoothie for sweetness. If desired, add honey or maple syrup and blend briefly to combine.
- If you prefer a thicker texture, add ice cubes and blend until desired consistency is achieved.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top, if that’s your preference.
