- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Start by preparing your cauliflower. I always find that cutting the florets into similar sizes helps them cook evenly, giving you that perfect crisp in every bite.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to coat but still drip slightly. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it’s fully covered.
- As you place them into the air fryer basket, try not to overcrowd. This was a lesson I learned early on—giving them space is what allows that golden crust to form.
- Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for about 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. You’ll notice them turning beautifully golden with crisp edges.
- While the cauliflower cooks, stir together the sauce: mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey. The aroma alone hints at the bold flavor waiting ahead.
