Description

This delightful Christmas trifle features layers of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, creamy vanilla pudding, and festive fruit preserves.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boxes Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (vanilla or chocolate), chopped
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 jar (10–12 oz) strawberry or raspberry preserves
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Festive sprinkles (red, green, white)
  • Crushed peppermint candies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened (about 2 mins). Fold in half the whipped topping.
  2. Cut Christmas Tree Cakes into bite-sized chunks. Optionally tint some whipped topping or cake bits with green food coloring.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer chopped cakes, pudding mix, and fruit preserves. Repeat until the dish is full.
  4. Top with remaining whipped topping. Add festive sprinkles and crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Try to let the trifle sit longer in the fridge for better flavor melding.
  • For an extra touch, use a mix of fresh berries in the layers.
